those extra five pounds

Well summer is here and I am like everyone in town, noticing that extra five pounds. I know that mine is from the bakery, Serrani's, in Orange (three blocks from the White Castle on South Orange ave.). I blogged about them in the past and have been there so often. Their prices are sooo low and the bread is so fresh. In these economic times, consider a group purchase: ask friends if you can pick up some fresh rolls or breads for them. $3 dollars a loaf is worth the drive to get several. You could freeze them but I love that made today taste.

I am getting out and walking a couple of miles a day to make up for my panetone habit. Wish me luck!
