December On My Mind
Thanksgiving was terrific this year. My sister hosted, as she does every year and I made a turkey. With side dishes from Dinnersmith, there was way too much food. Something I am thankful for. Abundant family is also something I am thankful for and the time to see them all.
December, however is all I have been thinking about these last few days. Deciding the menu has been on my mind. We made some changes and I think I like the offerings.
I tried the new Sopa Seca, a Mexican Casserole, and my family loved it. The new Meat Loaf is called Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf and is really a treat for those that like hamburgers. My husband had it the next day sliced, heated in a skillet and on a hamburger roll. He says it was better than a burger.
We are bringing back a few of our customer's favorites for the holidays. Crab Cakes are requested more that anything else, so they will be on the menu. Returning are also these favorites Horseradish Salmon, Steak Merlot and Sprinkle Chicken. What would December be without our favorite foods.
